NFA Partnership with Windowbase brings steel industry awareness
The National Fenestration Awards (NFA) have been working with industry data specialists Windowbase for a few months now and since the partnership began, the awards have attracted a new following from the industry.
Jason Grafton-Holt, founder of the NFAs and well-known industry blogsite Double Glazing Blogger explains: “By working with Windowbase the NFAs have been able to promote themselves to a much wider selection of the UK fenestration industry. It’s allowed people to become familiar with the brand, understand what the awards are and what they stand for. In fact it this partnership which lead to one of the companies in the steel category make it through to the final voting phase.National Fenestration Awards logo
“I recently spoke to Clement Windows, an installation business in the steel sector of our industry. It turns out that they found out about the awards after being sent one of the NFA’s regular email updates to the industry, which uses Windowbase prospect data. From there they went to the main NFA site and decided that this was something they would like to be part of. They said that if they had not got the e-shot, they would not have known about the awards and would not have been part of them at this stage.”
Jason adds: “This is the power of working with a data company like Windowbase. Although the NFAs were experiencing good natural growth through traditional means such as Twitter and through the magazines, having the access to the whole industry via the Windowbase database is what has given it a real turbo-charge!”
The National Fenestration Awards is now in its second year and had gone through massive growth. Registered users are now approaching an impressive 1,000. The number of votes cast has already surpassed the number in 2013 and sponsorships are allowing the NFAs to aim to put on an amazing race day experience for the winners of this year’s competition.
Voting is now live and will be live right up until 1st December, so still plenty of time to take part. Click here to go straight to the NFA voting page.
